A study of the principles and practices of operating sport and recreation service delivery areas. Emphasis placed on the examination of facility planning, design, operation, and maintenance including consideration of the inclusive practices approach to facility design and program operation. The course also investigates regulatory agents and methods of compliance as well as trends and issues impacting recreation managers. This course now shares a uniform “Parks, Recreation/Sports, and Leisure Service Agencies” course title.
