Global Health Perspectives

Catalog description

Pre- or Co-requisite: Completion of junior year nursing courses. This is a hybrid course that provides the opportunity for students to gain experiential learning in a healthcare setting under the guidance of a nurse mentor. The course is designed to enhance the skills and competencies of students who are within one year of graduating from the BSN program. The course also includes didactic content aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of global health and health care.
