Group Exercise Leadership II

Catalog description

. A teacher methods course designed to teach skills that are required to plan and instruct a group exercise class in a public school setting. Topics covered include class formats, use of music, choreography, cue, monitoring techniques, and successful instruction techniques. Students will learn skills by practice teaching sessions, observations/participation, and instructor evaluations. Students will be expected to take and pass the Group Exercise Instructor Certification exam. (Physical Education Licensure students only).
