Catalog description

This course offers an introduction to Health Information Systems (HIS) and the role that it plays in the delivery of health information to health care organizations. Students will learn the various methodology and approaches to the delivery of health information in health care settings. Students will learn about electronic health records, artificial intelligence, decision support systems, telehealth, and Internet based applications.
