. This is an advanced class where working knowledge of GIS and GIS software is required. Advance GIS concepts (such as data storage, analyses, and model building) will be covered. Students are required to be familiar with basic concepts (map scale, projections, shapefiles, spatial operations, and vector and raster data). As this is an applied course, the focal point of this class is a term project.
