Financial Statement Analysis

Catalog description

. This course is designed to improve the student’s ability to interpret and analyze financial statements. Primary focus is to improve the student’s ability to understand the various financial statements. Further, the course will evaluate various methodologies and uses of financial statements. The users of financial statements will normally be assumed to be those parties that are external to the company, but discussions will not be limited to the external users. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
