, and EDU 3410 . Corequisites: EDU 4040 This course explores various formal and informal diagnostic techniques for effective monitoring of student development in literacy. The course, which spans emergent through adolescent literacy, addresses diagnosis of difficulties in reading, implementation of corrective instruction, and prevention of literacy difficulties. Assessment strategies will be applied to children with reading difficulties and summarized in a written report.
