Reading In the Content Areas

Catalog description

- By permission of the instruction. This course will focus on literacy strategies across the content areas of mathematics, science, social studies, English and second languages, health, physical education, and cultural arts. The candidate will learn specific ways to enhance content area learning, while increasing reading and writing abilities in their students. This course will require 15 hours of field experience in a middle and/or high school setting.
