This course focuses on the principles of anatomy and kinesiology as it relates to dance technique, performance, lifestyle, and injury prevention. Emphasis is placed on the structure and function of the muscular and skeletal systems. Movement analysis, conditioning principles, and basic nutrition will also be covered.
