/CRJU 2110. A course that gives a high-level overview of threats to, and vulnerabilities of, computers and networks, and how they can be protected. Topics include elementary cryptography, viruses and malicious code and how to protect against them, user authentication, file protection mechanisms, basic network configurations, network architecture and security models, firewalls, access control devices, intrusion detection systems, and legal and ethical issues in computer security.
