, and PHYS 2120 (or PHYS 2320 , with grades of C or better.) Corequisites: CHEM 4900 and CHEM 4020 This course consists of laboratories that reinforce the concepts covered in CHEM 4020. An introduction to chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, and statistical mechanics as applied to chemical and biochemical systems. Experimental study of physico-chemical systems using modern instrumental techniques. This course must be taken concurrently with CHEM 4020. (One three-hour laboratory period per week.)
