, and PHYS 2120 (or PHYS 2320 ), with grades of C or better. Corequisites: CHEM 4010 and CHEM 4900 This course consists of laboratories that reinforce the concepts covered in CHEM 4010. This lab course focuses on applying classical thermodynamic and kinetic principles to chemical systems through experimental measurements. Experiments in the lab include bomb calorimetry, phase equilibria, gas laws, and reaction kinetics, emphasizing data analysis, error analysis, and bridging theoretical concepts with experimental findings. This course must be taken concurrently with CHEM 4010. (One three-hour laboratory period per week.)
