with grades of C or better. Corequisites: CHEM 1200 (Students must register for both CHEM 1200 and CHEM 1201.) CHEM 1201 is a hands-on laboratory component that accompanies the CHEM 1200 lecture, where students perform experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts like chemical kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and solution chemistry, developing essential laboratory techniques and data analysis skills while applying them to real-world chemical phenomena. This course must be taken concurrently with CHEM 1200. (Three laboratory hours per week.)
