. The third course for biology majors and persons who will be taking upper-level courses in biology. An in-depth study of the structure of cells, they physiology of cells, and molecular biology to convey basic knowledge about cells that will be needed as background for upper-level biology courses. This is the first course of a two-course sequence in molecular and cell biology for majors. (Three lecture hours per week)
