This course introduces students from all academic backgrounds to artificial intelligence and its growing impact on society, work, and daily life. Students will explore what AI is, how it works in accessible terms, and how it affects various industries including healthcare, education, business, entertainment, and social services. The course emphasizes understanding AI applications, recognizing AI’s capabilities and limitations, and developing critical thinking about ethical issues such as bias, privacy, and fairness.
