Catalog description

Anyone dealing with a federal, state, or local government entity is likely to encounter some aspect of administrative law-whether achieved through legislation, regulation, or policy. This course explains the sources of administrative law, controls on agencies, agency discretion, rulemaking, investigations, adjudications, due process and equal protection requirements, review of agency actions, public records requirements, and liability. Prerequisite: POLI 110.
