3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course draws on insights from the political science and public administration disciplines to examine the multifaceted issue of health disparities in the United States health care system. Traditionally marginalized, poor, racial and ethnic communities and groups with disparities based on gender, sexual preference and identity, physical and mental disability will be examined at the systemic and institutional level.
