3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course is a philosophical investigation into the nature of law. Students will examine various theories of jurisprudence including natural law, legal positivism, legal naturalism, and legal realism. The course will also consider the relationship between law and morality and between equality and the law. Finally, students will investigate various philosophical problems in criminal and tort law.
