Childbearing Family and Women’s Health across the Lifespan

Catalog description

This course focuses on the concepts and theories essential in providing Nursing care to childbearing families, newborns, and women. Incorporated into the course are methods of adaptation to physiological and psychological stressors inherent in this group of patients. In the clinical portion of the course the students will learn to work with interdisciplinary teams, employ evidence-based practice, technology, and informatics to provide quality patient-centered care.
