3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course is designed to examine ethical and moral dilemmas encountered by the professional nurse. Personal value systems related to nursing ethics will also be examined. The course focuses on ethical concepts, theories, and values applied in ethical decision-making. Students have the opportunity to apply ethical principles to selected global health issues, issues related to social and economic disparities, and other complex health issues affecting Nursing practice.
