3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course offers an introductory overview of human management functions, including the processes or systems that are designed to recruit, select, train, develop, motivate and retain a productive workforce. The emphasis is on management and utilization of people as organizational resources to achieve organizational objectives. The course covers relevant social, cultural, political, legal and global environment developments and provides the student with both general and specialized knowledge of the field and practice of human resource management in a variety of organizational settings.
