Statics and Mechanics of Materials

Catalog description

This is an introductory course in statics and mechanics of materials for non-mechanical engineering majors. It provides a just-in-time approach to the study of characteristics of forces and couples and their effects on equilibrium, strains, and stresses in solid bodies. Relationships between loads and deformations are also presented.
