Introduction to Mathematical Literature and Research Tools

1 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course will introduce mathematics majors to tools necessary to conduct research in mathematics at the undergraduate level. Topics include LaTeX mathematics editing, conducting a literature search, research ethics, reading and annotating lecture notes, bibliography and correct citation style. The students will write a short paper incorporating these skills.
