0 Lecture Hour(s) 6 Lab Hour(s) This course serves as the advanced internship experience out of two KINS internship capstone experiences that permit students to apply their academic training under the direction of certified fitness/wellness professionals and/or licensed clinical professionals. The application of academic theory gives the student experiences that will add to their personal and professional maturity. The internship is a requirement for all students in the KINS degree. The internship or practicum provides the student with the opportunity to ask pertinent questions, observe, and participate. The internship experience engages students in hands-on and real-world experiences, analytics, data collection, and skills needed to succeed in the field. Students must accumulate at least 120 hours by the end of the course.
