3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course provides the knowledge, effective methods, and skills necessary for leadership in the recreation/sport industry. It assesses leadership styles, traits, and leadership theories and provides the opportunity for students to assess their own individual styles. The course addresses group dynamics, ethical leadership, decision making, problem solving, group management, communication and issues relating to change and innovation.
