3 Lecture Hour(s) The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues surrounding health disparities and the challenges faced by underserved populations within the United States. This course examines the social, economic, cultural, and structural factors that contribute to health disparities and inequities among different demographic groups. Through critical analysis, case studies, discussions, and community engagement, students will explore the root causes of health disparities and develop strategies to promote health equity and improve the health outcomes of underserved communities.
