Information Technology for HPLS

3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course is designed to provide an overview of information technology as applied to Human Performance and Leisure Studies. A strong emphasis is placed on the delivery of discipline related content through use of information technology for instruction and assessment. In addition, students will become familiar with current discipline specific software. Issues presented by technology in health and human performance will also be explored. National Education Technology Standards for Teachers are addressed.
