3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course will introduce to the fundamental components of small unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAVs) and how they function together to produce high resolution, spatially accurate planimetric maps and 3D models of terrain. These components include GNSS, inertial systems, lidar and on-board sensors. The primary focus will be on application of these technologies and the processing and analysis of the data.
