3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course introduces the historical development, description, and basic legal land boundary elements related to the land survey systems in the United States. The United States Public Land Survey System material introduces sectionalized land subdivision, corner restoration, resurveys, evidence, and descriptions. Additional topics will include state plane coordinate systems, deed, plat, and other land boundary-related recording systems, and the historical concept of the cadastre.
