3 Lecture Hour(s) This course is designed as a continuation of GEOG 101 Introduction to Geographic Information Science. In this course GEOG 102 those skills will be built upon as students will gain hands-on practical experience with ESRl’s ArcGIS software through lab exercises and project work and thus gain a greater understanding of topics relating to the principles of GIS, and explore the varied applications of GIS. Prerequisite: GEOG 101 with passing grade.
