3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course prepares pre-service educators to teach literature in secondary schools. Students will explore strategies, issues, and research related to adolescent literature, explore literary texts vital to a secondary school curriculum, and make decisions about planning instruction and developing assessments. A field experience in an approved school is required.
