3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course offers advanced work in techniques of writing fiction for students with substantial experience in writing fiction. Classes are conducted as workshop sessions primarily where each student must comment on the manuscript of fellow students. In the course of critiquing techniques of fiction writing, such as establishment of character, manipulation of viewpoint, use of setting, and such matters as consistency, motivation, imagery, plotting, and theme will be covered.
