Creative Literary Production and Service in Society

3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) The goal of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to apply their practice and understanding of creative writing to practical and concrete situations in their communities with groups such as the elderly in community and senior centers, teen groups and elementary students. Students will work in a variety of community settings - educational, political, and/or social service agencies - according to the availability/needs of such groups.
