3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course introduces students to the craft of screenplay writing based on a specific historical event, person, or place. Students will research a historical phenomenon, adapt it into a compelling story, and employ the craft of screenwriting to share that story. Students will also analyze and evaluate professional screenplays and understand how they are unique to the film medium. Finally, students will apply craft specific techniques to their own creative works and share their screenplays in a workshop environment.
