3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course focuses on content, pedagogy, and assessment for word analysis (morphemic and structural analysis), fluency(accuracy, rate, and prosody), vocabulary and comprehension in culturally, linguistically, and developmentally diverse K-6classrooms. Emphasis is placed on the Science of Reading, and theories, research, and strategies for integrating listening,speaking, viewing, reading, and writing throughout content areas for comprehension development. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education. To be taken with ELED 312 and ELED 313. Credit 3(3-0). (F; S)
