3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course addresses the creative process and co-relation/integration of the arts (visual, dance, music, and theatre) to enhance student learning in other subject areas. The course will present a study in art education of sufficient depth to enable the student to understand what the arts are and their value, especially in relationship to the development of positive attitudes, perceptual awareness, and higher-order thinking skills. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic concepts, elements, and knowledge of resources and materials for use in the K-6 classroom.
