Introduction to Microprocessor-based Systems

3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course introduces the fundamentals of design using microprocessors, microcomputers, and microcontrollers. Both software and hardware concepts are addressed. Software concepts include high and low-level programming, flowcharts, and development/debugging techniques. Hardware concepts include communication ports, interrupts, memory, and interfacing to digital and analog devices such as sensors and actuators.
