3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course introduces problem solving through practical hands-on exercises and experiments to prepare first-year students for electrical and computer engineering (ECEN). Students will gain experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools to solve real world problems individually and in teams using a standard systematic thinking process. Systems engineering concepts will be utilized for hardware and software applications development. Topics Covered: Basic programming concepts, the design process, data analysis, technical presentations and basic DC and AC Circuits analysis. Study habits appropriate to engineering will be emphasized. Students will build and test a series/parallel circuit using an electric kit.
