3 Lecture Hour(s) This course is an overview of the essentials of privacy and ethics in data science. Students will explore the meanings of ethics and privacy, covering topics like data collection, privacy frameworks, access control, anonymity models, and privacy in cloud and big data. Through real-world case studies, students will gain insights into the complicated relationships between privacy and ethical considerations.Prerequisite: DASC 340 or Consent of Instructor
