1 Lecture Hour(s) 2 Lab Hour(s) The course is an introduction to selected dances of Africa and the Caribbean. Skill acquisition, cultural norms, history, theory and aesthetics of the selected dances will be explored in depth. Geographical areas of study include, but are not limited to Ghana, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti, and Jamaica.
