Introduction to Process Scaleup

3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course is designed to teach students how to 1) scaleup a process or model and 2) perform model, pilot and plant studies for translation of processes from model, laboratory and pilot plant information to the plant. The course will cover the different scaleup methods and how to establish viable process objectives. A general scaleup method is presented and a number of examples are worked as illustrations.
