0 Lecture Hour(s) 5 Lab Hour(s) The course is a continuation of CHEN 330 with emphasis on open-ended laboratory studies and comparisons between theory and experimental results. Topics include mass transfer, process dynamics and control, reaction kinetics, and reactor design. Statistical analysis of data, experimental design, laboratory safety and quality reporting are stressed. Students are required to complete formal and informal reports and make oral presentations with visual aids.
