2 Lecture Hour(s) 2 Lab Hour(s) This course examines the continuum concept, fluid statics, mass and momentum balances, the Bernoulli Equation, dimensional analysis, pipe flow problems, the design and the selection of pumps and the three forms of drag. Boundary layer flows, compressible flow and flow measurement devices are reviewed.
