Topics covered include axial, torsional, bending, and combined stress analysis; deformation and deflection of shafts and beams; transformation of stress and strain; column buckling; statically indeterminate beams; and simple connections. The course emphasizes both theoretical concepts and practical applications, enabling students to analyze and design basic structural components and systems.
