2 Lecture Hour(s) Basic concepts of instrumentation for monitoring and controlling biological systems will be studied. Specific topics include: electronic signal conditioning, sensors for measuring various parameters of biological systems (temperature, pressure, flow and pH value), monitoring and control of biosystems and bioprocesses. Prerequisites: ECEN 340. Corequisites: BIOE 415.
