2 Lab Hour(s) This course includes hands-on laboratory exercises on the measurements of various engineering properties of biological materials and computational tools for experimental data analysis and visualization. Experiments include physical properties, chemical compositions, mechanical properties, rheological properties, thermal properties, electromagnetic properties, aerodynamic and hydrodynamic properties of biological materials, Microsoft Excel for experimental data analysis and visualization, and machine learning based data analytics. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and MEEN 230. Corequisites: BIOE340.
