0 Lecture Hour(s) 2 Lab Hour(s) This course offers an advanced series of experimental studies focused on lighting and electrical systems. Students will learn how to measure fundamental lighting parameters, such as illuminance and reflectance, as well as electrical system parameters including power, voltage, current, and power factor. The course includes comparisons between observed data and manufacturer specifications. Students will also engage in circuit characterization and explore the economics of lighting. Additional topics covered will include daylighting, point-by-point measurements, and related calculations.
