Catalog description
This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of network security principles and implementation. Topics include the types and methods of attacks, security topologies, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, physical security, security policies, and basic computer forensics. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CIS 1103. (ACTS Department/Number/Title -CSEC-1303 Introduction to Cybersecurity)
