This course is designed to survey the field of finance and provide the foundation for individuals entering the field of business in accounting, management, or related fields. Topics include sources of business and financial information, financial statement analysis, the time value of money, the nature and measurement of risk, financial institutions, investments, and corporate finance. Lecture 3 hours per week.
