Introduction to Statistics

Catalog description

(Same as MAT 2133) This is a course involving the presentation and interpretation of data, probability, sampling, basic inference, correlation and regression, probability distributions of random continuous variables, and analysis of variance. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): MAT 1223 College Algebra or MAT 1213 Quantitative Literacy with a grade of "C" or better OR higher-level math.
